The ecological grape production regulations have been accepted in Europe already at the end of previous century. And since July 2012, wines which are produced in the EU in accordance with regulations which cover the winemaking and vinification processes, are marked with EU ecologic logotype. Movia has also obtained this certificate. In accordance with ecological viticulture, grapes are grown in a nature-friendly/natural way. Only organic fertilizers and vine protection products which are based mainly on plant extracts are permitted. Also the use of sulfur and copper is quite limited in quantity.
From the very beginning, Aleš Kristančič has tried to produce wines in harmony with nature, vine and the cosmos. At Movia Wine bar, we strive to offer you as many wines/winemakers as possible that share Aleš's passion and commitment to nature.
