(Notes for vintage 2021)
A Sauvignon Blanc, characterized by a golden yellow color that is reflected in the mists of a densely textured wine.
Intense and luxurious aromas reveal a whole range of perceptions, led by tea tree, chamomile, elderflower, honey, apple, mango, and candied lemon. Scents of honeysuckle, lemongrass, marzipan, vanilla, and butter follow. The finish fades into hints of mint, basil, rosemary and green pepper corns.
The taste is soft and in balance with freshness and minerality. Its vibrant acidity shows a long potential of maturation. It is vigorous and elegant, and the taste is long-lasting and characterized by an intertwining of tropical fruit, yellow plum, chamomile, elderflower, and Mediterranean herbs.
Food: an interesting accompaniment to dishes with portobello mushrooms, to Asian dishes enriched by teriyaki sauce. And, with grouper or octopus baked under the oven.
